When buying a house:
-
Agents are experienced negotiators who will manage your offers and counter-offers.
-
An agent is familiar with the neighbourhood and can give you information on local real estate values, taxes, utility costs, services and amenities.
-
An agent is familiar with the entire home purchasing process and can advise you of your legal and financial options as well as recommend appraisal, home inspection and contracting services.
-
An agent can pinpoint homes that fit your needs and dismiss those that do not, saving you time.
-
An agent knows the potential problem areas in a home and can guide you away from "lemons."
Buyer Beware!!!
A Buyer is only legally represented by an Agent
when contracted to do so.
If
not contracted both Agents are obligated to the Seller! In this case the buyer represents himself. Do you feel confident enough to represent and protect yourself?
There are two ways for a Buyer to view and purchase homes. One is to have a salesperson act as a Sub Agent to the Seller, the other is to have a salesperson act as a Buyer Agent when contracted to do so.
Having a salesperson act as a
Buyer Agent requires you to sign a
Buyer Agency Agreement. There are
very important advantages to signing this agreement.
Please call me or complete the form below and I will give you, Ten Important Reasons Why You Should Sign a Buyer Agency Agreement. This could be one of the best decisions you make when buying a home.
